Waldaschaff Automotive GmbH – one of the leading international suppliers in automotive lightweight construction made of aluminum and steel – will be represented for the first time with a stand at the IAA Mobility in Munich to present its range of services to customers and interested parties.

A battery housing developed by Waldaschaff will catch visitors’ eyes, which is characterized above
all by improved impermeability and flexible adaptation even with higher-strength materials. It has a very low weight, consistently high dimensional stability and is supported by a distinctive safety concept: “Better safe than sorry”. In an emergency, the systems from Waldaschaff protect human
life by decisive centimeters.

Over the past three years, Waldaschaff`s  strategic and practical focus has been  on electromobility, helping its customers in their quest for CO2-reduced mobility. This applies to both conventionally powered vehicles and electric vehicles. The consistent new strategic orientation coupled with high innovative strength has paid off. Waldaschaff already generates more than 80 percent of its sales in the field of electromobility – the trend is rising. Sales were increased by 50 percent in 2020, while personnel growth amounted to 30 percent. Locations in China and Mexico give the company’s innovative strength a global presence. Together with it‘s Chinese parent company Lingyun, more than 20 projects in the field of battery housings have now been put on the road. International premium brands such as BMW, Porsche and Daimler place their trust in Waldaschaff Automotives and are aware of the capabilities of such hidden champions, which make electromobility in its entirety possible in the first place.
